arrgg neo's face is so dark, most monitors probably won't be able to make out any details unless they cranked their brightness. he's supposed to be almost kissing her on the nose.
anyways, this is probably my first ever couple picture of these two.. most of you probably aren't even aware they are a couple. and i've had these characters for.. 4 years? 5? :O
they were both done fully digital, the background and blurry foreground piece are both photos. i copped out on the background because i've been working on this over a long period of time and i just wanted to see it finished. ahh crap i just realized all that detail i put in her dress is gone X'D

Aahh, photo or not, the background works so well with the coloring of this picture... T___T This is really, really well done! If I look at it out of the corner of my eyes, the whole thing looks like a photograph. ;_; Beautiful.

wow, that is absolutely amazing. I thought the figured themselves were photographs, too, but no! theyre just so skillfully rendered and placed in the image! and I love how you did the lights coming through the trees. that's soooo hard to achieve, but you did it beautifully here! I have to fave this because of the sheer skill. braaavo! :D :clap:

thanks! i believe that's the first time i've tried that the lighting-through-the-trees. i was looking at it now and thinking if i should have added very light "light beams/trails" that come down to the patches but.. that might not work with the image?? :'P
